Biography
Hi, I am Jackie Bailey. I am a Junior at Reinhardt University majoring in Early Childhood Education. I was born on December 4th, 1991. I have two brothers who happen to be born on December 4th as well. I am proud to say that I am a triplet. Not many people I know get to say that or even be one. At first I did not like sharing my birthday with my brothers. I have always wondered what it would be like to have an older or younger sibling. It is unique to have two brothers the same age as me. We grew up with some different interests. I was a dancer most of my life from when I was four years old to about my junior year in high school. My brothers were swimmers. People ask me what it is like to be a triplet. My experiences of being a triplet is wonderful. In high school we had most of the same type of classes and even had some classes together. This helps me to know that I have someone always around at home to help me with my school work and who understands me well enough. For people who are wondering, growing up we did always have one big birthday party for all three of us. Also i had the experience no one else really had. I had to learn about things on my own and making my own mistakes, other people have older sibling to learn from or a younger sibling to teach. Me and my brothers experienced everything at the same time.
As I said early in this essay, me and my brothers have some different interests. My interest is to become a teacher when I grow up. I love kids and working with them. In the starting my junior year of high school I work with little kids in art camps. I love that job and it makes me smile every day I am with the kids. I wanted to be a teacher since the beginning of my high school days. Through this experience in the summer I grew a little and became more confident in what I want to do in life. Through this I am here at Reinhardt learning to become a teacher. This PED class is one of many education classes I take in college for my major. I enjoy learning more about what I love to do and hoping to successfully take part in after college.
